CADSketch does not collect any personal data. In the app, your sketches and designs stay on your device. This website counts visits, without cookies.

What we collect

In the iPhone and iPad app: nothing. The app has no account, no sign-in, and no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. We do not ask for your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information, anywhere.

Visit counts on this website

This website, and the web version of CADSketch at cadsketch.ai/app (including when it is shown inside an AI app), use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. For each page view it records the page address, the site that linked to it, the country, the type of browser and device, and how quickly the page loaded. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not follow you from site to site. It never sees your sketches, your file names, or anything you type. We see totals, not individual visitors.

Your designs

Sketches, parts, and other work you create in CADSketch are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us and are not shared with any third party. If you export or share a file yourself, that happens under your control through the standard iOS share and Files features.

Third parties

The iPhone and iPad app does not embed third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and does not transmit your designs to any external service. The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, as described above, and nothing else of that kind. The plugin for AI apps shares your sketch with the AI app you choose to use it in, as described below.

CADSketch inside AI apps

CADSketch is also available as a plugin for AI apps such as ChatGPT, Codex and Claude. Using it there works differently from the app, because the point of it is to let an AI model work on your design with you:

• The AI app sees your sketch. What is on the CADSketch canvas (part names, dimensions, outlines and holes) is shared with the AI app you are using, so its model can read and edit it. A picture of the editor is shared when the model asks for one. That information is handled by the provider of that AI app under their privacy policy.
• Our server checks geometry and keeps nothing. When the model draws or checks a part, the AI app sends the part's description to the CADSketch server, which returns the result. The server has no accounts and no database, and it does not store or log the parts it is sent.
• Your files stay where they are. Design files you open are read and saved by the AI app on your own computer. They are not uploaded to us.

As with any website, the companies that host CADSketch process technical information such as IP addresses in order to deliver it. We do not use that information to identify you or to track you.

Children

CADSketch does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
