CAD sketching for iPad, iPhone, the web, and AI apps

CADSketch turns rough drawings into clean, constrained geometry — then into 3D parts.

Getting started

  1. Draw a closed shape on the canvas with your finger or Apple Pencil. Rough is fine — lines, arcs, and circles are recognized and cleaned up automatically.
  2. Open the 3D view to see the profile extruded into a solid you can orbit.
  3. Tap a face and choose Sketch on face to add material or cut into the part. Use the Union / Cut toggle to control which.
  4. Drag a point to edit — the geometry re-solves live.

Tips

  1. Apple Pencil is supported but not required.
  2. To reach a hidden face in the 3D view, tap the same spot again to cycle to the face behind it.
  3. Your work stays on your device — there is no account to set up.

In ChatGPT, Codex and Claude

  1. Ask for a part in plain words: "draw a 60 by 30 mm L-bracket, 5 mm thick, with three M4 holes". It opens in the editor, where you can drag points and set dimensions.
  2. Ask for changes the same way: "make it 95 mm wide", "add a hole 8 mm in from each corner". The assistant edits the sketch you have open.
  3. If the editor area shows "CADSketch didn't load here", use the button to open it in a browser tab, and send us the short code shown in brackets.
