CADSketch is free to use. What you design is yours, and you are responsible for checking a part before you make it.
CADSketch is made by Dan Newcome, publishing as punkfab ("we", "us"). These terms cover the CADSketch app for iPhone and iPad, the web app at cadsketch.ai, and the CADSketch plugin for AI apps such as ChatGPT, Codex and Claude.
You may use CADSketch for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. There is no account and no fee. Do not use it to break the law, and do not attempt to disrupt or overload the service or the servers behind it.
You own everything you create with CADSketch: sketches, parts, and exported files. We claim no rights in them.
CADSketch is a design tool, not an engineering sign-off. Dimensions, geometry checks, warnings and exported files are provided to help you, and they can be wrong. You are responsible for verifying any design before you manufacture it or rely on it, and CADSketch must not be the only check on a part whose failure could cause injury or damage.
When you use the CADSketch plugin in an AI app, that app's AI model draws and edits parts for you and can see what is on your canvas. AI models make mistakes: a part may not match what you asked for, and a suggestion may be unsafe or impractical to make. Review what the model produces. Your use of the AI app itself is governed by that app's own terms and privacy policy, not these.
CADSketch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of CADSketch. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may change CADSketch or stop offering it, and we may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date above. Continuing to use CADSketch after a change means you accept the updated terms.
